Milliken never really ceases to amaze me with it's slow, slow, ex-treme-ly slow moving lines. On the other hand, today, I remembered how creamy McDonald's ice-cream tastes.

I've been superbly procrasinating with my history assignment because one of my group members refuse to log onto msn.

But, other than that, I actually read my notes over for once. Well, history only. Seeing as I got a 54 back at Randall for grade 8 history, I should try to do well in high school (although I'm taking applied hsitory).

Nose bleeds are definately not an enjoyment to have.

I still have not completed the latest Professor Layton game. It seems a lot longer than the previous two games... and a bit easier. Heh. Maybe my puzzle skills have improved... a teeny tiny bit..?

The day I bring and wear a new, adorably cute hat to school... people just love to touch my head. Especially Sharon. She just loved the feeling of my hat, and wouldn't stop touching it. She and Philip had the chance to wear it.

Many other people also seemed interested in the hat.

Perhaps, if I remember, I'll find the time to post an image of the hat.

Today,

At the end of the school day, Johnny "hugged" both Sharon and I. With me, he attempted to pick me up. Not that I'm heavy or anything (*cough92lb*), but I really thought that was an abnormal event.

Afterwards, when I failed to pick up Sharon, and picked me off the ground. She did a much better job than Johnny, especially since I was trying to force my weight down for the two of them. (We also asked Johnny today why he's so pretty and if we could get a picture of his sister, but... we received an "I don't know" and a "no".)

The Milliken Children's Festival; it was quite a day. My zone had one or two people in the first 30 minutes of the festival. After I returned from my first break, there were many more.

I worked in the bracelet half of the zone first, and then went to the paper crown making section afterwards because they needed help. Since most of the kids seemed to be girls, they all wanted pink or purple crowns. We eventualy ran out of pink paper, and I swear my right hand will have bruises tomorrow from cutting 8 sheets of crowns out at once. (Note: I was kind of saying words like "heck" and "crap" because 1. some of my co-volunteers did weird things, esp. Vincent, and 2. the wind started blowing all our papers away and we had to pick them up.)

Within the last 2 hours of the festival, some of my co-volunteers and I began to draw Pokemon, play pictionary, laugh at each other, and etc. Some of them go to MMHS, and apparently, one of the girls (I can't remember any of their names except for the only boy at our zone) are in SAC. She also had Ms. Florinis as her grade 8 teacher back in Randall, so we spoke a little about how awesome a teacher Ms. Florinis was. Also... a sentence or two about how boring Ms. Levy was, and probably still is.

After my volunteer work next Saturday, I will have finished my hours.

It's always a sad day when a pet of yours passes away...

...Taro... I love you always. Forever rest in peace.

School begins in less than 12 hours. I will miss the time I spent lounging at home all summer, and yet I have been missing school since mid-time. I hope to see all my friends again! And I look forward to seeing how I will struggle with the poor arrangement of my classes.

My bag may provide struggle tomorrow...

Taro's been feeling better! ...I think. She's been urinating less blood now, and today, I noticed there's no blood, but rather a white liquid. Is this white liquid her normal pee, or... something else..?

School begins in a little more than 24 hours. Aaaahh!! I hope I'm prepared for all the staircase running. When I rechecked my schedule, I noticed that my semester 1 involved running from the first floor, to the third, and back to the first. My second semester involves me running from the first floor, to Port 1, and then to the third floor. ARGH.

Guidance always finds a way to give my stomach a good stab.

Entry 209

I went to The Links Animal and Bird Clinic with my mom and dad today (and Taro, of course!). Taro hasn't been feeling too well lately, and we finally decided to get her a check-up.

The doctor was squeezing her urinal a bit, apparently to check if it was a urinary or bladder infection. Taro squeaked a little... but I guess it was worth it. The doctor gave us medicine for Taro, and... the grand total was $116.16. Ohmygosh. I thought it'd be less, but it was apparently $82 for the check-up and $15 for the medicine. Ouch.

The doctor told us we should've brought Taro in sooner (it's been 2 weeks since she began to urinate blood), but my mom told her that we were debating whether it was worth it or not. But... personally, it was also the fact that my dad suspected it might've been her food pellets causing the bleeding (totally NOT).

After the check-up, my mom asked me why I don't go for studying vet school. LOL. Like I really would; I'm highly against surgeries, or even just looking into the mouth of a dog.
