Last night,
I ate at a sushi buffet with 5 of my friends. (It was for dinner.) Including me, there were 5 girls, and one boy: Philip. All of us girls were at my house before going to Nagoya Sushi. Jeanne had decided to go a little earlier, so my dad drove all of us there with my sister also in the car. (But she didn't eat with us.)
Before getting in the car, I gave Jing Jin and her little sister, Lanyi, some rockets. They ate them in the car, and Jing Jin just wouldn't shut up. My dad asked if she was "high". As we all know, it's often "high on sugar".
When at Nagoya Sushi, Sharon and Jeanne consistantly tried calling Philip to tell him that we were all waiting for him. Sadly, he never picked up (after many, many calls). I asked Sharon if maybe I would add a bit of "luck", so I attempted a call with her cellphone. After the phone itself stopped the calling, Philip quite immediately called Jeanne after that. Sharon often finds that I add a bit of luck to these kinds of problems...
After Philip had (finally) arrived, Sharon had challenged him to an eating contest. In the end, Philip did win, even though Sharon had eaten quite a bit before he'd even arrived.
I asked them all if they'd want to come out to eat once a month as friends, but Sharon screamed out "no". Too bad for me... (sulk).
