Yes! I went skating today with my friends.

Here's a list:
Joanne, Sharon, Phoebe, Carmen, Kriffin, and Jing Jin. Carmen brought her sister and cousin along, and Jing Jin brought her little sister.

Joanne was the one who actually wanted to go, but I had nothing better to do on a Sunday. Not having gone skating in a long time, the skates were uncomfortable. I didn't even know if I wore them correctly, but I knew that they weren't supposed to wobble.

There were little kids and a bunch of old people who could skate a lot better than us. Carmen was probably the best skater of us all since she was playing tag with her cousin and sister. I attempted to drag Sharon around, but .. she was heavy. Joanne was a lot easier to pull around.

I laughed a lot! Thanks to Kriffin for the entertainment. Now I'm going to post the embarrassing video of him on public display.

So basically, yes, I was skating around with a camera in my hand. I realize I skate better without actually looking at where I'm going. What I mean is, while I took a video and was looking at my screen, I was skating better than I did when I actually payed attention.

An extra note - I fell once, but it wasn't on my arse. It was onto one knee, a little like the position you take on the ground before you take off running. I mainly fell because I almost rammed into Joanne, yet she ended up falling with me. Sorry!

Volunteering for Ms. Florinis today at Randall was a blast! My lesson today: Randall's 2009-2010 grade 8s are complete idiots.

As I filed their science quizes and tests, I never once saw a mark above 80 - half of them failed. And her homeroom class took from 9am to lunch (11:45am) to complete a simple 3-page math unit test, measurement. I later had to mark 3 components of their test, and not once did I see anyone get a perfect so far. Another note - I also filed their previous math quizes, and only 10% of the students received 80+%. Approximately the other 90% failed.

When I say failed, I mean below 50%. No jokes.

Oh! Remember the bridge building in grade 7? Well, of the two grade 7 classes today, I noticed the majority were using none other than Staple's white liquid glue for children. I hope Ms. Hajmollarabi survives standing on each and every one of those death bombs.

Ms. Florinis is not a difficult teacher. I believe the students just don't study or pay attention in class. During the period I was marking the math unit tests, there were 2 (or 3?) boys next to me. They asked Ms. Florinis if her math was hard, and she told them to ask me as I was in her last year's class. Obviously, I answered "no". She told me to tell them my mark for term 3 measurement, and I answer "99%". Oh-my-god was their answer.

Geez. Math is seriously easy. I don't even remember studying for math ...

P.S. It was fun to view the terrible grades. It actually made me feel better about my overall grade 8 year. I don't even bother to wonder if Trevaughn did better than the current grade 8s; it's definite.

Nintendo Power is many things, including how they display the newest products by Nintendo, Sega, and etc.

My point here is .. Nintedo has made two new colors for the Wii controller: pink and light blue. I know, everyone's probably bored of white and the new colors don't look half bad, but seriously - pink? And light blue?

Is Nintedo bent on making all their newest products the same bright colors?

Anyone seen the movie "Avatar"? It's quite strange that they used the same font as the cartoon Avatar: The Last Airbender. What's up with that?

My mom, dad, and I went to watch it at IMAX today at 6:30. Sis went to watch Sherlock Holmes since she already saw Avatar with her friends.

I'd say it was a pretty well made movie, though really predictable. I didn't find it much in 3D. Disappointment... But I enjoyed the graphics. I want one of though spirit jellyfish things (that were actually seeds). And I believe the large, red dragon had a penis.

.. awkward.

I'm beginning to super duper hate my music teacher. I mean, I hated her before, but now it's ON.

No puns intended there.

Because she rejected my sheet music, I either have to ace Monday's recital with a nub song or take the time to scan a song from one of our many piano books and ask her over Moodle. Shits. I'm first to perform, too, because my classmates were efftards and signed up from 28 backwards.

I hate, hate, HATE vocal class.

So I've had a quarrel with Sharon, and I heard she was going around telling people shit about me. Seriously; if someone's pissed at you, don't spread it to the world that "they did this" and "they did that".

Me on the other hand, I talk to others who she's pissed off. So to end this post, I'm not the only one she's made into having a bad mood.

Notes: No wonder I was told to choose my friends wisely. Though, personally, I don't care. You either have friends or you don't, right? Sometimes they just get in the way.

Oh, but lately, I've been inspired to draw more.

These are the times when I feel like killing a person or two, or jabbing myself in the arm with a sharp object.

I hate working with people who don't contribute or over-complicate every second of my life.

Your "closest" friends are not actually your closest friends. It took me until last week to realize that. Stupid of me.

It's nerve breaking.

Oh gosh. My group and I only have 25secs. of the dance complete of a 3mins. 24secs. song. I have a feeling we won't be able to finish the dance by Monday, the day we must present. I think we're thinking too hard (or not thinking at all).

A review of how each person's contributing, alphabetically:
- Carmen - she's got ideas that aren't out of the world. They're possible to complete.
- Jennifer - I think she's contributed the most, and I feel sorry for her 'cus she's stuck in the middle of the dance for now.
- Krystal - I'm trying to keep the moves simple to remember, but two of them aren't listening. I don't want to try anymore.
- Louisa - personally, I got no comment on her. She just stands there and doesn't even know what we're doing.
- Sharon - she's .. picking the most impossible shit possible. Otherwise, they're just stupid and completely DO NOT MATCH the song.

In other news, there's apparently a new law where students cannot swear in school, otherwise they'll get suspended. Let's go on the hunt to find new words.

We started our dance unit on Monday. My group consists of Sharon, Louisa, Carmen, Jennifer, and I. We chose a song on Tuesday, but currently, they're kind of .. complicating things.

I keep telling them to just use moves that match like arm motions with simple feet steps, but I don't think some of them *coughsharon* want to do something so "easy". I added in arm motions today, though, and they took it because we needed something to fill in before we purposely trip backwards (that was Sharon's idea).

Urg. We only have less than a quater of the song finished and we have to present on Monday. Gah. And I think the guys aren't doing a dance unit. Lucky bastards.

I mean, it's a fun unit, but kind of stressing.

Ever since I changed all my blog titles to Entry #, I've been guessing what my last entry number was.

So. It's back to school tomorrow. I've caught a lot of people doing literally last minute homework. Poor Kimball came back to Canada a few days ago with more homework than I even had. Sorry, but I have to say "serves you right for not bringing it to China with you". Yes, I would've brought homework with me to another country.

Great. I remembered that today was also the last day to sleep in. I think I got about 10 hours of good sleep, though I had a strange dream. We bought another hamster and suddenly got these hamster babies. My dad, mom, and I went out, leaving my sister at home. When we came home, one of the hamster babies were missing. Oh noes! I found it playing around with some boot in the corner. We don't actually keep our shoes or boots in that corner I dreamt about.

Enough of the dream flashbacks. I hope every had a merry Christmas break. ♪

So .. a wedding banquet with the family. Yup.

I wouldn't say it was the best experience (or the best food I've ever tasted). The food was actually quite dry. Although the outside was often crunchy and juicy, the inside was plain dehydrated. I don't think I finished any of the meal courses. Even dessert was .. bleck. There was cake stuff (I forget what it was called) in a martini cup. I only part of dessert I liked was the chocolate fountain outside (though I didn't eat much chocolate - pimples, y'know?) and the yummy, juicy fruits.

Pineapples and strawberries w/ chocolate FTW. Ew, I know, I used FTW.

My cousin looked through most of the pictures on my camera. She laughed at the one I took of my dad sleeping 'cus his head was at a 90 degree angle or something like that. And then she saw a picture of my graduation, but went back to looking at her sister's daughters.

Oh gosh. I haven't finished my geography. I needed to ask Wing something about the assignment, but it's strange .. whenever I need somebody's help, THEY NEVER LOG ON. Yeah; next time, I'll ask for a good reason to care about your well-being.

Back to the dinner party! Jocey stole some marbles from the tables, and before that, we were messing around with the candles on our table. Wax, y'know; it's so fun to play with.

Hm. Not much else I can remember, except I texted Sharon sometime during dinner and I guess she didn't have her cell on. Also, please note if you're actually reading this damn post; my phone is charged for incoming texts now. Boo hoo. ;-;

P.S. - If you drink coke and add 4 slices of lemons in it, it will become sweet yet still carbonated. I think that's become my new favourite drink. ♥

Happy New Year.

It's 2010 now, a year closer to being older. It's also a year closer to the death of humanity. Yay!

I'm still working on my geography. I just recently began coloring which is hell, so I doubt I'll be finished anytime soon. We aren't supposed to have any white spaces on our footprint, so .. how the hell am I supposed to color a toilet, a sink, and a counter? I made the counter yellow; huge mistake. The toilet and sink are now grey.

I have a bad feeling about my mark on this.
