Happy New Years Eve, readers! Lets just wait until Chinese New Years, though. :)
Sigh. I still have a lot to do for my ecological footprint. I came up with this idea of .. naw, I won't spoil it. I don't think my teacher will like it though. I have no clue what I'm even doing anymore .. I think.
I think I liked the braces better than these retainers I have now. When I want to eat candy, I have to take the retainers off, then put them back on when I'm finished. But when I put them back on, it feels awkward. I have the taste of plastic in my mouth now - full time. Ayup; plastic.
At least it should be easier to floss now, ey?

December 30th, my braces were removed! ♫
But you know what still sucks? I've got glue(?) stuck on the very back teeth on the bottom, and I now have a wire cemented onto the back of my teeth also on the bottom. The top - I must wear a retainer.
The retainer is so slidey, and my teeth are so smoooooth. :DD *lick*

I'm bored, and for that, I will rename all my blog entries to something simpler - something shorter.
I hope you all had a Happy Boxing Day. Or Merry Boxing Day, whatever. Did you all take advantage of this years' sales? Er, well, even though most of them were crap. I think I preferred last year more.
Hum. The day after tomorrow, I have to wear retainers. Gaah; I hope they aren't uncomfortable.
The only other two I see blogging these days are Joanne and my sister. Everyone else, I suppose, died somewhere along the way.
_ Syrk
Edit: I changed ALL my post titles to "Entry #", without the quotations. Sigh. What a waste of time.

Merry Christmas, readers!
I'm still fighting the headache I received this morning as I continuously awoke and fell asleep. My family and I just finished eating dinner, and well, TURKEY. Heh. With mashed potatoes and peas in a pod.
It's Boxing Day tomorrow, and you know what that means: SALES! I didn't go last year due to stubbornly wanting to sleep, but this year I'll have to try and wake up.
Last of all, it's 5 days until I get my braces off.

It's 4 days to X-Mas! Or .. is it 3? The 24th or the 25th?
Whatever! It's almost X-Mas, but I think I'll sleep in that day. I hope Boxing Day has some cool sales this year. Cough. Yes, I'm already thinking about the sales.
I might go skating next week with some friends if they want to go.
Mom brought some brownie mix yesterday. Maybe I'll make some brownies later today and give some to Sharon tomorrow. I think I acted kind of stupid yesterday in front of Sharon while we were trying to finish the health assignment. It's done, but I feel like a tard. Hopefully tomorrow will be better, heh.
My sister wants to steal my brownies whenever I get to making them.
Argh! Hurry and finish charging, you darn DSi. D:

Skiing at the Horseshoe resort. Sharon, Tonya, and Joanne decided to snowboard instead. They made me want to join them before, but after seeing their lesson, I began to have doubts.
First thing's first before I forget: Sharon fell. A LOT. Tonya and Joanne did, too, but I was watching Sharon more. At one time when she got off the lift, she fell and her snowboard hit her head. Don't worry! It's by law to wear helmets now. And at another time while she was going down the hill, she fell and did a 360 spin. Heh. Her falls were epic.
If you were wondering, my readers, I didn't fall at all. Hurrah! I didn't get the red tag that lets you go on any lift, but would choose hanging with my friends over a sticker any day.
Hrm. I didn't eat lunch at the resort. I ate it on the bus. Sharon had to go through her lesson with full bladder. I did go to the washroom, thank you very much. It's much cleaner than the washrooms at MMHS.
I don't know what else to say except it was fun. The ride there was about an hour and a half to two hours, and because a snowstorm was expected at 3, we had to leave by 2:30. Our time got cut short, but it's alright.
On the way home, I began to make little snowballs, and .. threw them at Sharon! Heh. And then we carolled for about 10 minutes because there was nothing better to do. Coldness.

P.S. Let's go skating some time. :)

Day Two of Self-Defense
I'm going skiing tomorrow, meaning I miss self-defense class. There goes 15$. I would actually love to stay and learn, but I wanted to go skiing while some others go snowboarding which costed 50$. I highly doubt 15$ is worth as much as 50$.
We were punching mats again, and today, Sharon was my partner. Yesterday's was Rong Mei, who actually punches very brutally. The instructor made everyone yell out "No, creeper dude" today. It kept making Sharon and I laugh everytime we had to yell it out. The two of us were quite reluctant to yell the phrase.
During the rest of the exercises, we were to yell "no" like in yesterday's lesson. Jennifer was referred to as "martial arts girl" by the instructor as she's the only classmate who actually took outside lessons.
Missing day 3, I wonder how day 4 is going to look.

P.S. We get to take a coach bus to skiing/snowboarding tomorrow. Mobile washrooms = the best.

Day One of Self-Defense
Oh, joy. It wasn't a painful lesson, however my knuckles did get red after having to punch huge rounds of mini, square, red punching mats.
The instructor seemed to be nice and extremely enthusiastic. She gave us a lot of laughs, making fun of songs and moreover how we're always walking around with iPods, etc. And please note that our instructor is a second degree black belt. Oh god!
How's the rest of my week going to look?

Today, my family and I tried out a place named Cora's for lunch. I wouldn't say their sausages were the best, but the potatoes were pretty good. I think my scrambled eggs are better than theirs'. :)
We went shoe (technically boot) shopping at The Shoe Company afterwards. My boot from last year broke last week, the zipper. So .. I needed new boots. And my dad needed new boots, too, while my sister had no boots that were actually warm. 3 new boots, and well, mom bought new shoes just because she loves shoes and spending money.
Back to the main story, I got a pair of knee high NO ZIPPER boots. My sister got short, no zipper boots though not because she hates zippers on shoes like me now. Dad got, urk, something. Mom got some weird high-heel shoes.
Bleh. This post is becoming too long. I got new boots, hopefully they won't break in some mysterious way this time. Something else happened which was pretty funny and good for us, the family, but I'm forbidden to tell anyone else. Boo hoo.

Grumpy, grumpy.
Today, to wake my sister, I body slammed her and began to roll around on her. When she finally decided to get up, I was pushed back into the wall and hit my head.
Sharon and I were late for school, but the supply teacher took attendance later due to the fact that many students were probably late. We saw a van that was completely stuck behind those lame hills the snow-ploughs make. I hate those hills, grrrrr.
The concert at night was average. I tried to sing louder when we were performing, but gah, I can't hit high notes. ;_;
I beat Sharon at Tetris 9 times. Oh, and while we were leaving, I checked the honour roll list. I'm on it, and a bunch of other friends. ;D

Today, in geography, we got into groups. Of course, I was with Wing, and there were 3 other members in our group.
We had to be "creative" although we weren't being marked on this piece of work. After trades and trades and negotiations for the energy source we wanted, we had to stick to biofuel. You know, animal poop and all that natural crap.
Well; I don't think Wing was too happy with biofuel, but we worked something out. So, having to be creative, our group decided to make a giant origami cow and stick the information on it. Is that creative enough for the class, or what?! Come on, it's a giant cow. With words on its body.
I feel like crap because I barely did anything. Ugh. I will go sit in the corner of shame.
_ Syrk
P.S. - I have to go back to school @ 7PM tomorrow for the winter concert. Got to sing. Arrrrgh!! I don't think it'll be that bad besides the fact that I didn't give a crap to sell the min. 3 tickets each student was supposed to. Long sentence there. Kimball's lucky he isn't here; he doesn't need to stretch the facts of failure.
P.P.S. - If you ever see the program booklet or something for the winter concert, the cover design is by none other than .. ME! Tee hee. No, I'm not that proud of myself.

A P.A. Day, or to teachers, a P.D. Day.
Anyways, not much happened. I pretty much stayed in my room playing Maple Story, party questing with noobs who dissed me, etc. Don't worry though, I'm still way more experienced than any of them.
Unsurprisingly, I was stronger than most of them, too.

I was away from school for a funeral. Rest in peace, grandma. D:
I don't feel that I was as close to her as most other participants of the funeral. I didn't cry because I thought I shouldn't. Or perhaps it was because I thought grandma wouldn't want us to cry.
Wearing all black made me feel a little awkward that day, though everyone else was doing it. I guess it's 'cus I don't usually wear all black (although people think I do because I'm "goth"; am so not).
_ Syrk
P.S. - People need to stop saying "sorry" when they find out somebody's relative has passed away. It isn't your fault that they died, so it's no biggie.
